It finally happened to me

It had only previously been talked of in lore and legends....

perpetuated, in part, by people who seem to live inside their own little Kult of Kelloggs Konfectionary Kard Kollectibles.


But I received my first Ebay auction winning today -- accompanied by a box of Pops!

I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

    Are you referring to "Korro" the "Zorro of Kellogg's Kollecting", the mystery man, who leaves his "K" mark with a box of Kellogg's delectable delights to all that pass his way?

    Or are you talking about something else?

    Most interesting is that I have purchased from him before with nary a box of Kelloggs to be seen. Now I know the legend is true!

    Does Korro collect/sell 70 Kelloggs football cards too? Or is this just a baseball thing? Us Kelloggs football collectors are just as passionate about the issue as the baseball guys, but don't get the attention. Do we qualify for the Kelloggs Kult?

    Fabfrank - I think that Korro only kollects the Kellogg's baseball (various years).

    Yes, the Kellogg's Football members are Klub eligible. They even have their own float on Kellogg's Klub Parade Day. They just don't have full voting rights on all Kellogg's issues of the day image.

    I would rethink your decision on the status of Kelloggs football Kollectors. This sounds like a version of "taxation without representation". Probably more like "ostricisation without representation". If we can't have full fledge Kelloggs status and the 3-D depravity that comes with it, we may revolt. Beware the potential Kelloggs Tea Party (or Spilt Milk Party).

    As it so happens, I still have my box prominently displayed in my computer hutch. There's Tony with his big smile looking down on me. Can life get any better than that?

    I am so impressed with this gesture that I will have to replicate it with the K cards that I have running on ebay right now for the lucky winners of the lots.
