Trying to add Picture

I need help adding a picture onto the forum. When I click properties of the picture it tells me it is 500 bytes but when I try to attach I am told that it is over 50 KB and will not upload. Has anyone else had this problem or know how I can get my picture onto the forum?

Jack, Convert your pic size from inches to pixels. Then re-size to no more than 500 pixels.
I always save in pixels. That is the way I had to do it for them to upload. After you upload to the Attach Field be sure to high light the file before you ask it to attach. This pic is 500 pixels.
