The coin has a dark bronze coloration on most of the obverse with blue around the rim. It's pretty much as you see it on here, the only thing I don't think I was able to capture was the brilliance underneath the toning which is really cool. I'm using a Mavica F075. Any suggestions?
I use a Mavica FD-73 and I have found to get the Brown and sometimes light Violet out of the Photo i have to Turn the Camera Off between each shot and then turn it On directly facing into the light source I am using. Am now working on another way to take Photo's with the Sony I saw yesterday. Hopefully it will work without all of this Turning On and Off stuff.
The Picture above was lightened up in Photo Shop. Thats the other thing that hopefully will be taken care of. Pictures of Coins in NGC or Raw Coins come out Darker than PCGS Slabbed Coins.
Frank, last weekend I went to Menards and spent $7.98 for one of those clamp on bendable extension lights, a couple of GE natural light bulbs and a halogen bulb. The light can be manuevered to not directly reflect off the slab. My photos have improved with that set up and it cost was less than 15 bucks.

Mike - I've got 2 of those and a halogen light source, and the pics have been getting better since.
Ken - hadn't heard of that one, but heck - it's sunday, might as well try it. I'll take some more pics and if they turn out well I'll post them.
Thanks guys!
