the confederate curreencey market is alive and well and is extremely active and prices have gone up tremendously but the market is co9llector dominated by SPECIALISTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it is much different than the market for lets say "investment grade"
    ngc pcgs coins

there are many rare desirable historically significant notes that still need study and some like i said above are really hot and have taken off

as for investment coins and paper money are NOT AN INVESTMENT but a hobby as for which is the best/worst to collect?/ well that is a really wasy answer collect what you like to collect what interests you and make sure to meet others in the field and learn from them and at shows and meetings and books on the subject

and maybe after many years of study and enjiyment you might be able to then determin for yourself what you like and waht is a "good imvestment" for you and waht are the better and worst to collect!

as it is all extremely subjective what you are asking excpet for the investment part and for that for me it is easy
collecting notes confederatre notes is definately NOT AN INVESTMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope I don't have to rise with the rest of my fellow Southerners. I'm too comfortable on the couch. image

  • Strange? I was at the Atlanta ANA and all the stores accepted greenbacks, not a confederate note in site. What is the meaning of this????
