GSA Sale Date and Mint Mark Distribution

I've been looking for awhile and still have not found any info. on the number of each date dollar (CC or otherwise) that were included in the GSA sales. Does any member have the info. or know where I can find it.

I've seen Peace dollars and Morgans in the soft packs and non-CC dollars in the hard packs. I'd like to find out how many of what were distributed by the GSA.

I do believe those figures are published somewhere because I think I've seen them - but I'm not sure where - great help aren't I???

Both the VAM book and Bowers' Silver Dollar Encyclopedia have at least some details about the GSA sales, although I think they mostly focus on the CC dollars.

I'm not sure about Highfill's book, although I think it might. I'll have to check.

Van Allen & Mallis' book is definitely the best place to find the details you seek. Having said that, some of the data you're after is not available.

I've been researching and working on a book on the GSA sale for a couple of years now and have accumulated a significant amount of data, much of it from records published at the time of the sales.
