I know of this Certain Merc Dime that has Criss Crossed the United States 4 times in the last 4 Years.
Now here is the Question. Were the Wings Attached to Miss Liberty actually put there so she could Amass Frequent Flyer Miles ? I think she is getting Tired of all of this Flying and just wants to find a Nice Cozy Home in a Collection. I can hear Her even here in Oregon saying "Crap here I go Again after a 12 Hour Grounding Only "
Heck maybe She would even prefer being a Blast White Lure for Texas Bass.

She passed through Pittsburg or close to Pittsburg 4 Years ago just before She was bought by me. Came out of a Baltimore Show.

It left Florida a couple of months ago. It spent some time there (Out of the Sun) getting brightened up. Its next stop was Seattle. Anyone from Seattle want to comment ?

Let's not be the in crowd and keep all the information secret. What dime has been getting frequent flyer miles? What is the history of the coin... inquiring minds want to know. Plus I am intrigued.
If the only requirement is she reside in the country of Texas, is it ok if she stays at my place? I don't know what she is, but by the way "ya'll" are talking, I'm sure I need her. Come on, fess up, fill us in on the details. I'm sure it's a good story. Cone on Ken, tell us a good Mercury dime story!!!

Anyway this is a Dime that went all Over the Place. Dealer Mentioned below bought the Dime in Baltimore, I believe, and Immediately Sold Her to me (Journey's First Step about 4 years ago), After Joining the PCGS Registry She first went to PCGS (for Cross Over Attempt) She Failed this, Back to Me in Oregon (But I would not let Her settle down),To a Dealer in Viriginia Beach for a Offer For Sale (Low Balled Me so it was Refused),Back Home to Me in Oregon (Decided she needed some cleaning up by the Pro's), To Seattle then To Long Beach(For submission to NGC),To Florida NGC (Appearence Review then Conserved. "Wow" She turned out White as a Ghost),Back to Dealer in Seattle(He had it for 3 Months before She took off again),To Long Beach because the Dealer forgot to send it to Me (Free Trips to Long Beach sound like Fun), Back to Seattle (After prodding the Dealer He remembered He still had the Dime), Back to Me (After She had been on a 5 month Vacation away from home), To Dennis for Approval in Texas (He Bought it) and now back to PCGS I think. I believe Dennis will fill us in at a Later date.
She Got around while I owned her.
Oh Yea... Its the Blast White 27D I showed a couple of weeks ago. Nicely Struck MS64 coin.
