Gem Washington quarters from the 30's and 40's. A great bargain in numismatics.
ebay item: 1386481854. I love the portrait. It kind of makes you appreciate them more
after looking at the smaller statehood portrait. The coin came in and I love it.
See link in post below. Thanks python.

them to my collection. The portrait reminds me that Flanagan's portrait is just as nice as Frasier's

That's my great, great great great, great, great, great, great, great great, great uncle there!
I wonder how detailed the hair can get in EDS strikes? That's how I would collect these.
Very nice!

ask one individual why he kept saluting me and to my surprise he said, "aren't you related to the great Colonel Stroup?" I was familiar with who he was referring to because some years ago
my parent's reservations at a restraunt were canceled because he had died. And I remember my dad saying "I'm not dead yet." and we left. So now-a-days when someone salutes me I tell them, I'm not related to Colonel Stroup but that I am related to that great General who led the Revolutionary war. The funny thing is, after I tell someone that, they could care less that I'm related to George Washington.
I might as well add that I'm also related to William Penn and Danial Boone and the kingship of the Berkleys of England. So not only do I have the blood of a great General and President but I also carry a little royality as well. LOL
