I wonder how that blue hue is "unavoidable"?? I can't remember EVER seeing a scan/photo with that NEON look. That is in almost 4 years on Ebay. They are unique!??
Why is there a 95-S and a 93-S pictured, is the auction for both coins, or only 1? The desc is not very helpful. Anyway, go for it Russ!!! I want to see the glow in the dark Kennedy's in your collection. You have to start on the PR70DCAMs sometime!!!
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!
Don't you guys read the descriptions? Like you're gonna get 2 Pr 70s for $500? <<remembering that you are only bidding on the single coin listed in the title.>>
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

Some scanners don't use a white light source. My scanner, an old Hewlett Packard ScanJet 5200, is one such model.
When scanning a document or picture, the scanner can normalize for the color of the light source so the resulting image appears to be the correct colour. But the normalization doesn't work so well when the color of the light source is directly reflected to the sensor, like from the relief areas of those coins, or on the flat edges of the slabs.

I guess your memory isn't too good, or you're not looking at vary many auctions. It used to be pretty common, but good white light sources have become cheaper and therefore more common in consumer-grade scanners.
LucyBop- I don't know if you have sold much on Ebay or not. However, that Feedback record is not so bad. It is not unusual to run across an absolute nutcase every 100 to 150 transactions. As evidence of the absolute crap a seller takes on Ebay, just look at his most recent Negative. The "buyer" has ZERO(0) Feedback and is no longer a registered user.
Lucy B, Looks like most of his bad feedback came from his relunctant bidder list that is linked to the page. All of them failed to pay. There is one guy in the list who thinks he is James Bond, with all his aka and email addresses.
