Frost breaks..spots...PR69DCAM???

Very nice, smooth creamy frost on the obverse. Yet look at the spots! How does the reverse make DCAM, Proof 69 mind you, with those frost breaks?

PR-69 DCAM Franklin

I think a grader got tickets to the Dodgers game for this one.

You get 2 DCAM Franklins in one submission and now you want a 69 to boot. Girl, you are getting greedy! HaHa!

You obviously know something about the DCAM Franklin. You have to admit that reverse and the spots all over ol'Ben are sure questionable for the grade????

I believe this what graders who leave PCGS refer to as "favor coins".

That reverse looks like my 63, as for the spots they claim that those are because of the photo and not the coin, boy if I bought that coin and it really did have those spots I would be pissed!

  • The 1956 proof obverse always seem to have frost breaks on the little wisp of hair in front of the ear as well as on the strand behind the ear. This is a charateristic of the die and these coins can still be DCAM. There are a few areas on the reverse which don't quite seem frosted enough; perhaps it is the image?
