how would you describe the picture?

The detail looks quite strong for a vf, the toning on the rims looks nice but why is the coin so white?

Probably scanned and the scanner automatically called it a B/W photo - which was not adjusted to color. So what's your limit on risking for a US coin coming from South America? I occasionally have trouble with American sellers - I sure as heck wouldn't be able to do much if someone from Buenos Aires didn't pull through.
