I never seriously considered buying the thing, but man-oh-man, what a beaut!

Believe it or not, it is a raw, Darkside coin that blows me away even more than that does. I made a thread about that one on the Darkside entitled "Satan, lead me not into temptation"!

I have a Columbian 1892 in MS-63 that has that same nice dark peripheral toning. Is that RW album toning?

Wow, I would rather have the darkside coin than the quarter but wow! I can't imagine how that George III survived that well for all these years.

A real good cleaning will get all that crap off the coin! I have never have seen anything in toned coins.
