Russ, Looks like a decent 64. Luster looks strong and I agree that the strike is a bit weak, especially the reverse. Pretty coin overall and a better strike could have kicked it to a 65 IMO.

Looks like a nice piece for the grade Russ - head looks a little flat, and I can't tell if that's a ding on the rim on the obverse by the Y of Liberty.
The luster is what I look for in these. I'm building in MS64 and so many in that grade have been dipped to flatness, it's hard to find them with a lot of luster left.
Lucy,
Reading your post I felt strange, and somewhat foreign sensation that I haven't experienced in a while.
Is that a big rim ding at 3 oclock by the Y? Looks like a few carbon spots in the eagles wings it's a teletrade picture so it might not even be the right coin
I just spent the last 10 minutes staring at that '45s. All I can say is... if the luster looks like that in person, the heck with spots, rubs or anything else. I like it!

The liberty's head is either showing a rub(not good) or it is flat.
Solid 64 if there is no rub on the obverse.

I'm glad you got it... I didn't want you to be jealous when I posted this:

I like yours. What it lacks in luster, it makes up for in character.
