Argh!!!!!!

A relatively rare card came on ebay a couple days ago, with an opening bid of 150+% of SMR. It was a 7 day auction, so I placed my snipe. Now the card is gone. The seller sold the card for what sounded like UNDER SMR due to no bids after 2 days! Argh!!!!!! I was prepared to pay, and pay well, for the card.

    Yeah that is a tough situation. If the opening bid was less then SMR I would have sugested placing a minimum bid then us the snipe to place you "real bid". 150% SMR open though , if it was something you couldn't live without then you should have bid. Too many people are doing this sort of thing( pulling their auctions early) and sometimes it is frustrating. But look at it another way, unless it is a T206 Wagner PSA 8 , there will most certainly be another one sometime soon. Keep your head up little camperimage

    just learned about sniping about 2 weeks ago. cant say i liked the concept at first- and the light bulb went on in terms of how i lost auctions in the past- even when i was waitin at the end... of course now that i've won a few auctions b/c of sniping, i cant say that i'm a fan, but its nice to win a few sometimes..
