Will MS70 Damage Clad Kennedy Halves?

I have used MS70 on some of my modern silver commemoratives with fairly good results. It removed most of the spotting, but not all, with apparently no damage to the coin. I have some Kennedy halves with really ugly light toning, will it remove the toning without damaging the coin? I would like to submit some of the halves to PCGS.

MS70 is really just soap. No, it won't hurt the coins as long as they are thoroughly rinsed and dried. But, it is also not as effective as eZest at removing toning.

I have some Tarnex, is it the same thing as Ezest?

I don't know, but if it is, I wouldn't recommend using it on clad. I've tried eZest extensively on clad and the coins invariably develop gold or brown dip residue spotting or toning. It doesn't show up right away, but it does happen. I've also returned a lot of slabbed clads that had the same problem.
