  • He has all the KEYS (Heavier Weighted Coins 68S - 74S) and you do not. While all your later date 69s are weighted 1 or 2 (69 multiplied by weight) he has all the 68 thru 74 coins with weights between 3 and 5 (grade multiplied by weight).

He has 25 coins and you have 33 but because of the dates he has, his are weighted heavier.

If you care about always being ranked as high as possible at all times you need to buy the keys (Heavier Weighted Coins) first.

It looks as if where he gets ahead of you is the 60s and early 70s he has most of these coins and you dont have them in your set and these coins are heavily weighted with weights of 3 to 4 and 5 . You have more coins but his weighted coins add up to more points in the set rating. One more coin in your set and you will pass him.

Looks like Bill beat me to the punch.image

  • i just sent in the 1965 thru 1976 sets for grading,so i may be clawing my way to the middle of the pack
  • ronman...i,ve been looking at that 1969 of yours with lust in my heart
  • Beorn, that 67 of yours is quite a find. I'd love to see a pic of that one. Good luck on those early 70's pieces. I keep sending them in myself, but not getting back what I think I should, those are some difficult years.
