A big THANK YOU to mdwoods!!!!

In this thread I mentioned that I owned several novelty Lincoln Cents. Mark replied and in a PM offered me a complete set of 1979 State Cents free of charge. They arrived today, complete in a holder, all UNC, stamped with the state outline and 2 letter abbreviation. Once again the generosity of a forum member is clearly displayed with this interesting gift! image-Thanks Mark!

I'll second that! I just bought something from Mark and when it arrived, included with the package was a nice bonus of a pair of 2002 Sacs. image

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

Those state-outline counterstamped cents were all the rage when I started collecting as a kid. image

I haven't seen any in a long time. Several years back, I found one in circulation.
