Trip to the wood shed....

Well,

I just got my results on my last submission... word to the wise... If you're thinking about sending post 1933 wheat cents in 67RD to PCGS, dont send them in now. I've owned well over a hundred of them. I submitted three 1954-S cents that I'd place in the TOP 10% of all the PCGS 67RD's that I've owned. All were 66'd.

  • Bummer Dude!

I find that the trading Gods get very upset if you don't throw a couple sacraficial body bag coins in with the group. imageimage

Hope my 1909-VDB and 1910 come back close!

  • PCGS has been brutal on copper lately and prices of existing slabs are skyrocketing! We Lincoln collectors are getting squeezed from both ends. (Yeah, I know, whine, whine, whine...)

    But it IS tough!

Yah, I know. There was my problem. I only had one body bagged... and it came straight out of a PCGS holder before it went to them... imageimage

    David,
Sorry to hear that.I guess I will wait to send in a 36-p " I know" will hit 67.

  • <cringe> I sent about 40 in over the last couple of weeks. I am thinking that I may catch the day they get real. I sent in a bunch of gimme 35-P's that they HAVE to give 67. They were the best out of a dozen well preserved rolls. tThe 35's came good to begin with so to tell the truth I think a couple have 68 written on them. We will see, it seems as though the submissions are going quickly, except for my lincolns which are going slower so prehaps they are creating a controversy.
