First,This is a foreign coin,but I,m not interested in that part.
So,If you have an opinion as to posting this on the US forum instead of the Dark Side.
I just wonder if minting practices in other countrys mirror ours in striking characteristics .
Is this from die fatigue?Or is it more along the lines of strike / machine doubling?
The coin is a 1988 $500?.....Ya,Its says $500 on it.BTW,I,m pretty sure its real common( I have a few) so,no high-hopes here or anything like that.
