How and When do you know your Coin Buying has gotten out of hand?

My first hint was when I found myself bidding and subsequently winning, this auction:

I've really got to stop. This is now getting ridiculous.
I hate to think of all the things my children will be saying about me after I pass on and they realize these are the coins I collected.
Have you had to "STOP"?! And, if so- how did you do it?
Cold turkey?

Then I end up with more "spare" cash and I am right back to building and improving my sets. Never an end till I am 6 ft under... then I will haunt whomever ends up with my collection to keep them busy improving their collection.

Braddick - Will these coins hereafter be known as the "Family Jewels"?

I took a vacation to an area with no Internet access. Sure, I broke down and bought a coin in Victoria, but by the time I got to Alaska I was coin-free. Now that I'm back I only search eBay for a couple of specific coins, and I'm selling coins as I buy more from other dealers.

Braddick, would you like me to add peacoc-kcoins to my table, listed below?
I'd say one's buying has gotten out of hand when one Morgan is needed for one's Registry set and four Morgans get bought!!!!
He saw you coming from 1500 Miles away ! Nice Coins.
Out of hand, Waist starts shrinking from lack of Food. This is Good sometimes.

Braddick,
Good shot at AU55 if submitted for crossover with ACG. Maybe even AU58 and if you ask them MS62. Sell at a profit.
Just in jest Pat. You know how I feel about ACG.

Yes, please feel free to add peacockcoins to the table below.
(But please spell it without the "-")

In God We Trust.... all others pay in Gold and Silver!
I was the underbidder in that auction and was scratching my head wondering why I was bidding. Thanks for bailing me out.

When I'm hanging from the rafters of my garage with my wife holding the chair she pulled out from under my legs.

#2) Quit when you start keeping purchase secret from your wife...that is a definite no-no. (not that that ever happened to me)
When you're standing on the street corner with a sign that reads "Will Work For Coins"
Proof Dime Registry Set
When the wife asks "whats for dinner?" and you place a couple of certified Morgans on her plate.

<< <i>Well, think of it this way. Your buddies will love you when you break out these puppies and use them as poker chips! Just like the ole west, lol. >>
I was thinking of collecting a bunch of Ikes to use as poker chips. I still am actually. That would be awesome! Anyone have 3-400 Ikes in any circulated condition to sell CHEAP?
