MORE Monster Morgan Photos, and a Peace Dollar

A continuation of those posted on this thread if you missed it.

Again, sadly, the coins themselves belong to GSAGUY, not me. image

1880-S Purple/Green

1880-S Green/Red/Orange

1884-O Textile Orange

1922 Peace Dollar

Again the one I personally find myself drawn to is the textile-toned coin.

Uh-oh.

  • GSAGUY I have yet to see a collection of monster toned morgans that is anywhere near the quality of yours. Jaw dropping coins!

Everytime I see those pieces I am more impressed. The tennis racket textile is my personal favorite as well Tad.

Sidenote........I was the underbidder for that green and maroon 80s about 2 years ago, its worth (IMO) about 13-15 times as much now as it sold for then. And I had at least 3 people tell me I was absolutely nuts for bidding as much as I did!

    Supercoin,

Thanks for the post young man! I really do appreciate it. I'm lucky to be able to even turn on my computer, much less format and post all those pics.

    Kyleknap,

Thanks for the compliments on some of my babies. Wait till I get the really nice ones scanned.........I'm still trying to figure out how to turn the darned thing on!!imageimageimage

Wow, what a slide show. Are they that bright looking at first glance in person?

Truly GREAT coins, without a doubt some of the best I have ever seen, and I have seen a few.

Truly great textile toned dollars will do that to you.
If It doesn't have great eye appeal, I don't want it.

Some of Gsaguy's Dollars are pictured on Andy Kimmels Web Site in his Archives. Believe me when I say that it takes very special coins to be posted in his Archives Section.

Beautiful coins GSA! Love the Morgans but having looked at a lot of Peace Dollars I've grown to really appreciate seeing one with the toning on the 1922.

All I can say is, dam sam, those are nice.
  • What terrific eye candy! Keep 'em coming.
Buy the coin...but be sure to pay for it.
  • Those are all exeptionally nice toned dollars! I especially like the textile toned 1884-O.

    Thanks All!

I guess I really do need to get the remainder of my toned Morgan collection photographed and post them to a site so they can be easily accessed. While the scans posted by Supercoin (thanks again) are nice, I've got some coins that I prefer much more than these! One of these days I'll even get my icon back....the Minneapolis Monster!image

Hey, wait a minute here...........I thought that according to Iwog and jmwarren and others that beautifully toned dollars are way overpriced, are probably artificial, will soon crash in price, and that we are fools for buying them at these absurd prices.................oh well.imageimage

We can only hope they are over valued and the prices crash, at least that way I will be able to afford to buy some of the nice stuff.
