1905 IHC, is this considered a rub???

Would you consider this coin an AU due to it clearly sitting in the palm of the sellers hand??? imageimage

a little hard to tell if it has rub, however, the oils from his skin, just might leave spots on the coin after awhile.

I like it and it does appear to be uncirculated, but the way he is holding it is not good.

For some reason 1905s show up with more interesting toning than other common dates, some of which have a woodgrain look (like this one). Must be due to the bronze source for this particular year. The Ebay coin turned brown in the same woodgrain pattern you normally only see on S-Mint and copper-nickel IHs, known for their poorly mixed alloy.

One of the most beautifully toned IHs I ever owned was a 1905 NGC 65RD (on the Design Elements page of my site). Some would say AT, but considering what I've seen on other 05s I wonder about that.
