I went to my first ever coin show on Sunday and picked up "The CherryPickers Guide". I've heard you all talk about it so I thought it ws time to get myself one. I got home and started going through some stuff and came across this Buff...a 1935-D. Is this considered a repunched mint mark or is it a blob of gunk?

Nice find
You can also buy it from the ANA money market store. I think its $30. Great reference for all
Buff varieties.
Brian.
Looks like an RPM to me. I have the guide as well, and I see 8 RPMs listed. Your's is none of the above. The guide has instructions for reporting new varieties on page 134... wouldn't that be neat to get credit for discovering a new RPM?!!
Editted to add: The Wexler book mentioned above is what I have. That lighter D well southwest of the primary is not a variety shown in the book.
