Ever see an eBay auction and get your hopes up?

-Only to have reality kick you right in the face! This one headlines a set of "PCGS MS68" State quarters and then shows a set of MS68 PCGS State quarters and the banner in the auction states 'MS68' quarters... until you get to the text of the auction to then discover they are truly MS67 quarters!
The BuyItNow would have been a steal IF they really had been MS68's! Oh well. . .
(I don't really think the seller did it all on purpose, but it sure is a tease.)

Funny. Even the picture shows an Ohio quarter in PCGS MS-68. Me thinks David Hall may get some emails on this one. Hopefully before the auction ends.

Doesn't eBay have rules about titles and pictures accurately representing what is being sold? I understand showing a representative MS68 and shipping another MS68. Wouldn't you think David Hall's folks would be a little more straight forward?

Contact the seller to point out the mistake. If he claims no mistake, report him to eBay for Key Word Spamming.

Pat, where does it say they are MS67 quarters? Everything I see says MS68. I looked twice, what am I missing? mdwoods

I'm curious, why would that price be a steal when the pops are already in the hundreds for each of those? What have they been selling for?

i too don't see where they are 67's, all i read is 68.

Got an e-mail back from him and this is what it said

"Having a problem with our ebay listing program, though I fixed
that. They are all MS68's"
