Modern Proof Sets........?????

I've checked out Ebay and prices seem to vary. What is the going rate for the US Mint Proof Sets from say 1988-1998? Thanks for your help. I have a lady that wants to sell all of them to me a he purchase price.

    No just the 5 coin set of proof coins

    I think about half of them (from what I have read) have actually gained in value.I personally would like to see them if it were me though.

    All of the modern proof and mint sets trade at prices based on bid. It is usually
    possible to actually sell at bid, but this may sometimes take a little patience. Ot-
    herwise figure about 90% of bid. Buying at bid isn't too difficult except for any-
    thing that happens to be hot. That'll run 10 to 20% over. Retail tends to be only
    about 25 to 30% over bid. In very recent times there are increasing numbers of
    sellers asking 250% of bid or more.
