the awards will be handed out in a couple of weeks so i decided to try to come up with my own award winners.
but i found this to be way too hard!...
Best Collection : this one has to go to one of the big boys..merkel, branca, luchios etc
Best Set of the Year : there are so many ...but my favorite is the revere's 1968 topps
Vintage Set of the Year (1974 and older) : the best t-206 or the best 1952 topps
Modern Set of the Year (1975 to present) : this is one is really hard since not that many sets even have the 50% minimum...
Best Player Set of the Year :no question...... fogel's mantles
Rookie Set Registrant of the Year : who cares about this award?
what do you guys think?
will there be any last minute surprises?
and does anyone else think these awards are way too broad? ..why not make it the best of every decade?

As for Best Player set of the year, though it is not really a single player, I think Hal Lewis's Hall of Fame Player set is pretty freaking incredible.

Reveres set is huge ! and the only big vintage set to be over 9.00 GPA.
who knows who will win? ..i have heard of rumors about a certain group of collectors lobbying PSA ...the rumors said that these men carried american flags and had a big "K" painted in their chests!
