Notice how they both post nice pictures and Russ lives in WA and Supercoin claims he USED to live in WA? How strange!
And they both spend all their time om eBay fooling with high grade Modern Clads? How strange!
And they both joned the board the year after Clinton was ousted from office? How strange!
And they both have posted pictures of guns? How strange!

Yet you seem prepared to do battle with them. My suggestion is to do battle with me if that is your aim. I don't mind warring when the cause is just.You defaming two board members in good standing (without cause), puts me on the front line. Apologize to them both and leave it alone. Don't apologize, and bring your hostilities to me. I can handle them.

My personal credo doesn't allow starting fight, but it does allow me to participate if innocents get jumped called out (as you have done)

I also have no beef with you. The two "board members in good standing" spend an awful lot of their precious time here on earth throwing barbs, insults, and other aggravating remarks at a lot of other people. It has been posted here many times that there are certain people on this board who are very irritating.

If you poke a bear in the eye enough times - you'll eventually evoke the response that you were after all along.

I have put up with sh1t from cacheman for 2 and a half months now - do a search on every post he has made and you will find that a good portion fo them are just irritating, short, jacka$$ responses to a good post from someone else. Itsnotjustme appears to just hop on his wagon when he sees him post. or vice versa.

Sorry man but after 2 or 3 HUNDRED of these - it sort of gets to ya.

I am unaware of the history you have with cachemen and itsnotjust me. Frankly I know enough about itsnotjustme to know that he wouldn't jump you for no cause. So to see you denigrate them both, well it just doesn't sit well with me. I read the thread you posted on the Buy/Sell/Trade forum, and you appeared to lash out at then for reasons I don't fully understand. They both made comments about the situation, but none of their comments seemed out of line. Your retort on the other hand was not only unfriendly, it also suggested battle between all three parties. I couldn't see a reason for going to battle with them - no reason I could see. With no reason, I feel compelled to step in and offer my services in battle. You see, I am a warrior, but I won't get involved unless persons are getting picked on. In such cases, I can, with a clear conscious, join the fray. That's where we are at right here and right now. If the situation was misrepresented in any way, than that information will have to be factored in.

The worse conclusion you could arrive at would be that the warrior will pass this situation by. I won't because I respect one of the two parties too much to let you take an aggressive stance against. That's where I come in. Face me head on, and we will do what we will do. But leave the other two out of things. You were wrong to single them out.

OK, I really argued with myself about getting in the middle of this, but I think all the name calling and insult/barb throwing has gone a little too far.

Of the 4 main posters (JR, its4real, itsnotjustme, cacheman) involved here, I have personally dealt with 3 (JR, its4real, itsnotjustme). My dealings with these 3 folks have been very pleasant with no problems. I have been a member of these boards for a bit and have read many posts by all of you. its4real, you do have to admit, when you first joined, you were a little, how shall we put it, annoying. But, to give you credit where it is due, you have reformed your ways and have become a member in good standing on these boards. How about we all recognize that fact, guys? its4real has changed since he first joined and now should get a little respect, just like any other board member.

As for the "offending" thread, I don't think cacheman and itsnotjustme were trying to provoke any trouble. I believe they would have made the same sort of comments to anybody who promoted their auctions in that manner, only to have them end in a less than desireable fashion. A very unfortunate turn of events for its4real, but not worth a fight among board members.

I usually don't post in the middle of "fight" threads, but I felt I needed to add my twenty cents here (yes, I know it is usually two cents, but I'm a woman and am entitled to spending more if I want.

) I like all the board members involved here and would hate to see any real problems develop out of a misunderstanding. Now, out of respect for my title (be it a2labmom or Princess of the South), all those involved are hereby ordered to shake hands and make up!

Before even seeing this lovely thread, I just sent its4real a PM explaining some of the factors that I feel caused his auction to go low. They were sent as honest advice he can take or ignore at his own choice. If you all look at my 20th Cent Gold type set, you'll see the coin in question would have completed my set. At that price, I would have liked to take that coin home. I explained why I didn't in the PM.

My post was not to inflame... I had been watching the auction, and expected the coin to sell for $185 to $210. The observation that it went cheap is an honest one. The speculation the snipe guns mis-fired is following the theme its4real set up in the thread.

Everyone knows its4real had some problems when he first arrived. But, since then he has come a long way and been making an honest effort to become a good member of this board. I think some members here are being real short with him due to his past problems and he is easly put on the defense due to the past abuse he suffered.

Lets have less abuse and more tolorance from everyone please. He is still very new here and any criticizing suggestions could be better served through a PM.
