To everyone that knew Josh... from Karen

Hello guys,
I received this email letter from Karen...
She would like me to run this on my website, so I will put it on there and post it here and on the other forums here also...
Thanks guys for your thankfulness to Josh Rothstein, his family and friends

"I received heart warming emails from many people, that I printed out and gave to his mother on Thursday after his funeral. Ones that came later, I will give next time I see her.
It is amazing how close people can get to one another through electronic means. I am so happy that Josh met so many wonderful people. Thank you everyone for all his positive experiences online.

From Sunday to Thursday they were making funeral arrangements and notifying people. Friday, Saturday and Sunday they have visitors at their house. Although life goes on, sometimes it's necessary to pause for a while and grieve and take care of other things.

I am including a photo of Josh. I remember that smile of his well.
Love: Karen"

as most know.. the Josh Rothstein TR Benefit auction is going very well.. several members have donated some great cards.. and all money goes to a charity that josh donated his time and energy to..
  • Out of curiosity...... what frikin moron complained that Josh owed him money?? Cause someone needs to drive to whoever's house and BEAT HIM DOWN......

It's sad what we take for granted sometimes, and i hope some people realize how precious every day is, and make the most of each of them......

  • Very Sad. He looks like he was a happy kid. This puts me to tears, and I didnt know the guy.... tough times...

  • JErik, the guy who complained about Josh owing him a couple bucks was bandbcollectibles. What a loser.image
  • I hate to say this but a lot of people have been complaining to his family about Josh owing money or cards. Now i knew Josh well and he would never, ever welsh on anything. I would suggest that if he was in the middle of a trade with you and he just didnt get around to sending it out, cause-er, he died-...FORGET about it!!!!!!!!!!!Its only cardboard.

His family has enough to deal with , rather than you complaining to then about a trading card, So Have some compasion for the family.

One day when someone close to you dies youll understand and probably look back at your actions with regreat and sorrow. So here is your chance to just STOP.

DONT BOTHER HIS FAMILY IN THEIR TIME OF GRIEF. THEY HAVE ENOUGH TO DEAL WITH RATHER THAN YOUR PIECE OF CARDBOARD NOW

    PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE...STOP BOTHERING THEM

  • tuneman is absolutely right. If Josh really did owe you anything just let it go. The family has bigger worries than sending someone a $10 jersey card. I am guessing that some people aren't really owed anything, they're just taking advantage of the situation to try to get something for free.
  • His family shouldnt send anyone anything anyways. They should just ignore all those e-mails asking for cards. Not to mention that a contract is terminated with death, so these people have no way of trying to sue the family, which is good. They shouldnt have to put up with anymore than what they are going through
