Merc guys....turn signal is on and I am about to pass on the left............

At least for the lower level guys. You big guys at the top can just sit back and watch but in the middle of the pack guys watch out. I have moved from 30 something to 25th in the past few days. I have about 5-7 more coins on the way and should be here by the end of next week. Top 20 here I come! I sure do like a little friendly competition.

  • Nice looking set. Congrats on the additions. image As long as you continue to use turn signals before overtaking other "drivers", you should do OK here. image

  • PT AND FAIRLANE..........

yes it is a 2001 mercedes. I also too like to go fast as I have a 2001 yamaha R1 sportbike that costs $10,000 new and I have put another $12,000 in engine modifications into her. I can only imagine the look on peoples faces when I pull up beside them at 80-90 mph and then pull a wheelie past them. Yes, you could say I like speed.

go to www.streetdemon.com and click on the video section then click on the top video that says a usual friday night (this was shot mostly be me on 10-13-02) at 2:20 into the movie you will see a blue bike wheelie past the camera, thats me also at 2:36-2:47 thats me.

life is too short to not have fun.
  • jbsteven: I watched that video. You guys are nuts! I played around when I was younger. But not in traffic image And not on 2 wheels image
  • most of us in the video are in are early 30's so there is still a little of that young stuff floating around in our heads. we usually ride around 11:00 thru 2:00 in the morning because of the little amount of traffic.

    it's all about having fun

I presume those cars you passed on the freeway won't stopped....how fast do you think you were guys going?

P.S.: How many other club members also collect Mercs? (image)

  • usually when I pull up a wheelie i put it in 3rd gear and at about 70 mph i let off the gas then whack it open and it comes right up. when we ride the wheelies out usually when we let them down we are going between 90-100 mph however I have a electric shifter on my bike that enables me to shift gears with a touch of a button and ride the wheelies a little further and faster. i usually let mine down at about 120 mph. Also most top of the line sportbikes have roughly 130-135 horsepower but mine is pushing 165 with all the work I have done to her.
  • Yeah, but... what about that guy riding on the bots dots? Doesn't that mess things up? Or did I see things wrong? I mean those things are bumps...
  • You're not just passing, You're breaking out the Bulldozer and plowing your way up the street.
  • JB,
Nice pass, and nice additions, keep it up, Ken and I may see you real soon, TOO SOON...lolimage

    Hello JB,

You flew right by me, and I was moving along at a pretty good clip myself! At this rate you will be in the top 20 very soon. Good luck and congratulations. If I ever get to see you in person, remind me to show you my $86,000.00 knee from a bike wreck. Three operations so far and need one more. You can't pay me enough to get on a motorcycle again. It was all fun up until that point though.

Nice job on the additions. Being a Merc guy, I have to have one of those also, but not feeling the need for speed quite as much.. a nice little M does me well.
