58 BB Black Background

I have an ungraded 1958 BB set, mostly ex to nm. I am not too active in upgrading or anything with the set, but do have a question regarding five commons.
I have checked the pop reports and they do not seem any tougher than most other commons, but I wonder if the black background makes it harder to get in really sharp and clear print. I would guess the dark color is harder to keep small specks off, as opposed to say, orange or yellow. The cards are Phils or Reds, Nos. 207,311,372,387,and 466. There might be another card or two with the black backdrop but I have dupes of these five, actually I have at least 3 or more examples of each and only one perhaps would be a solid 8.
I know any and all 58s are fairly tough to get in nice condition. Just curious if any 58 collectors notice a little more effort is needed to get nice copies of these cards ?
