My First Toned Morgan - Opinions Please

I realize it may not be a high grade, but I liked the color and thought for the price, I really couldn't beat it. What do you think, it's my first foray into the world of toned Morgans. I hope this doesn't become addictive! image

Any thoughts as to the grade. I'm thinking maybe MS-60/AU-58

Linky

Thanks,

Michael

That's my favorite type of color. I also like crescent toning on Morgans. Not too much, as to cover the whole coin, just a nice partial moon. I like it!! image

*The only thing I don't like is the fact that the seller makes no mention of any grade. I think you have a correct guess on the grade though.

I don't think the coin is MS. If it were, its too mark-free to be a 60. I think AU 58 is a pretty good guess from the scan. And yes, I like the toning. Nice coin.
    I collect circulated U.S. silver
  • The scan is not clear enough for me to tell if it's MS or not - usually the eagle's breast feathers and wings are a dead giveaway, but I can't see any wear on the scan - could be a weak strike under the toning - either way - nice coin!

Looks 63/64 to me. I like a periph tone. That's a cool coin.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

No one really saw the rim ding on the Reverse. I think that's why this coin was not already in a slab.

Will PCGS slab this coin or should I send it to ANACS?

How much do you think does this ding knock down the grade?

    Thanks

The smashed place by DOLLAR? I don't think it matters much-I still say 63. I don't know why you would want to slab a cheap coin-if you ever go to sell anybody can see it's original but I think it would slab at any service.
