“Superbird” Washington quarter?

Can anyone explain? Based on the description, it appears to have something to do with the cameo. It is a bit pricey.

The reverse seems to `carry` the coin for its stronger cameo I guess.

The 1952 Superbird 25c has a small, raised piece of metal in the shape of an "s" on the Eagles breast. Some of the most contrasted 1952 Cameo Quarters are from this particular die. I owned one several years ago, and it was a beautiful coin. I can't tell from the scan if the piece on Ebay is a Superbird, but if it is, the price asked isn't absurd.

Notice how slightly different the angle of the slab is in each shot ?
The reverse is just reflecting off the light source a little more.
See the left side twice as bright as the right side on the reverse pic?

I find it strange that the seller labels the coin a "Superbird", but in his description he fails to even mention the raised "s" on the Eagles' breast?

I picked one up awhile ago slabed as a 65 (anacs) and mentioned on the holder. It's not as nice looking as this piece, but then again I only paid 40 bucks for it. So, yes, I would agree the price is outrageous.
