Kennedy Proof Question

I promised myself I wouldn't buy anything more this month because of my auction visit, but I am weak when it comes to these slabs. Look at the coin, look at the price I paid. What do you think, gang of wisemen (don't even think it)?

Thanks.

Kris

Nice coin at about 25% under recent market. I might be a bit concerned about this though:

Most of the eBay sellers I've encountered have a vastly different definition of "light" than I do.

  • I'm not a wiseman, but I'd say you did ok. Insured shipping for $3 is pretty good. I would've been trying to snipe that one myself if I hadn't already destroyed my coin budget. I still need the silver '99.

I agree with Russ on his point though. I no longer bid on any JFKs that are described with any problems. Sometimes the "problem free" ones have problems. Sellers almost always underestimate things like "haze".
