I'm very happy for Steve. He's a great guy to do deals with. I also noticed a while ago he's working on a '62 Topps set. This guy's a glutton for punishment going after those condition sensitive sets! I wish him well on both and hope he still keeps improving his '75 set.
  • Great Job on the multi-colored madness set!

A challenging set and a great accomplishment. He even waited until he had 90% to post it, but it was finished off quickly. Even though Frank is still ahead in GPA, it's a great set. Good job.

After reading all the kind words left for me, I was compelled to sign-up and reply to the messages left here. Many thanks to all that have traded with me towards completing this set. I hope I can return the favor with either '75s or with future set building efforts.

As for my 75 set, I hope to continue improving it as suggested by danmarkel. While my set may be the current #1 set, records are made to be broken. Although not complete, Frank Smith still has the highest rated 75 set on the registry; I'm betting Frank isn't going to compromise on quality and include any 7s in his set as I did to complete my set... Good luck Frank! Also Frank, sorry about the Aurelio Rodriguez card....To quote Will Smith from the movie "Independence Day", "We need to work on communication skills." image

In reply to Zardoz's question regarding what's next, I thought about joining the KKK chase but in the process mixed kool-aid with some bad cheese... Am now re-considering that decision. Seriously, you Kellogg's guys are a great bunch and alot of fun to be around.

    Thanks again,

    Steve

    Steve-
Your '71 Topps Greatest Moments set is still the most impressive in your collection, even if it is ranked #3 (for now anyways, right?). Not to knock your '62 and '75 efforts.

I agree with murcerfan. I am very impressed with your 1971 Topps greatest moments set. You have some really large balls to attempt that set. It may be small in size, but that would take years to make in all PSA 7's. Good luck in catching those two guys in front of you. I know you can do it. Murcerfan is not that serious about staying number 1, on the other hand be very careful of that Leonard boy.
