Wow- thanks! No Fugios! The closest thing I have is one of those double-headed Washington cents. That'll get a bid fer sure, once I figger out a fair amount. What says the forum? How much? I don't even have a Redbook lyin' around at the moment...
I'm not sure if it's a lamination or some other sort of planchet flaw. Interesting. I would imagine such things were much more common in the 18th century. I've seen a lot of clipped planchets on Colonials, and they don't seem to command any premium. In fact, I cherrypicked a Good Connecticut copper with a clipped planchet in a 3-piece lot I bought sight-unseen for four bucks on eBay (no pic on the auction). I also got a scarce variety Civil War token with a planchet clip in a 25-lb. lot of cheapo foreign coins once.

The coin also looks like it has a lamination error also at six o clock.

You think that is a lamination error on the coin?
