College Football, Fiesta Bowl, Naked Girls!

This post has nothing to do with naked girls i just wanted people to actually read this. I will be going to the Fiesta Bowl in January to watch the championship game, and i have one extra ticket up for sale on ebay. You will be sitting next to me if it makes any difference, so you can at least have someone to talk to about cards during halftime if you wish :-). Anyway this is a shameless promo so take a look if your interested. BTW: my reserve is what i paid for the ticket ($875). Thanks, andrew

loosen up will ya, jeese, its a community message board, i want to tell the community about a ticket, its not that big of a deal. There is no difference between me saying "Im going to the game" and having an auction link in my sig line, and doing what i did.

p.s. BKAH - when i said it was a joke i was reffering to the part about sitting next me being the best part of the game, not the post.

Only in certain states and Arizona isn't one of them since it has no scalping laws. You can sell a ticket here 25 feet from a venue's door at 10 times the face value and it's perfectly legal.

Plus, one loophole from illegal scalping is a seller will say something like "Brett Favre proset card and 2 free Packers tickets for game 11/17" in the title to his auction. He then will just start the bidding very high... The card may be worth a dollar, but that is what he is selling and giving away the ticket.
Does that make sense?

1. At least one item or experience of substantial value related to the ticket event that the seller has coordinated with the event promoter, team, manager, artist, or venue, such as a backstage pass, a meeting with the performer, or an "experience" such as being a ballboy at a baseball game; OR

2. A complete travel package around the event, including BOTH air transportation to the event location and commercial lodging for at least one night. Listings that offer tickets without these travel arrangements do not qualify as travel packages under this policy.

Obviously, a 50 cent card does not qualify as either of the above.

Ticket scalping "laws" are the most bizarre thing I've ever seen in a capitalistic, free market economy. For the life of me, I've never understood the big deal. People can make a profit on anything else, from PSA 10 Pokemon cards to Britney Spears used bras to modified convertible VW bugs. But somehow, tickets to events are in a special realm.

Can someone explain the logic of placing tickets in a special category when everything else is fair game?

I don't think sellers have much to worry about on eBay as long as they pay the seller's fee and occasionally say "I'm sorry". At least, that is my impression of eBay's enforcement of their rules pertaining to sellers.

yo, lol how did u get access 2 obtain a ticket? i went 2 the national title game in 99 when the noles vs va tech and got a 120 dollar seat for 50 bucks
not bad but it was right at kickoff lol... so i got in just before the game started...
but then i moved down into the noles section, i switched with some hokie fans, im interested...
also if the game sucks, then do i get my money back? is that what u mean by "if sitting next 2 me is the greatest thing in the game, a full refund will be issued?" or r u kidding? lol
