Anybody have any idea what a set of these is worth? It's an 8-card set made in '73. Include Jackie Robinson and Satchell Paige.

    As a typical qualification -- it depends on the condition of the set.

    In MINT (but raw) condition, I think this set would go in the $2,000 - $4,000 range.

    Very rare set to find. Obviously Paige and Robinson are the keys. Steve (Novella) or someone of his like (Kris Keppler, etc.) has had one of those cards available in PSA 9 in the past....
    I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

    There was a set that just closed on ebay a day or two ago that had 1-PSA 7, 1-PSA 9 and 6- PSA 8's. All NQ. The high bid was $510 but the reserve was not met.

    MikeSchmidt is rifgt over 99% of the time but he may be wrong on this one. I bought a mint ungraded set for $500 not too long ago.

    I do generally defer to Davalillo as having the greatest range of expertise and contacts in this hobby to answer almost any question with knowledge -- and I do believe he is closer to correct on this count.

    For what it's worth, Steve Novella has a PSA 9 Jackie Robinson card available from this set for $795....
