I just received this coin in the mail. It is currently a pop 1(0) coin but it is likely that another coin or two will eventually grade as nice or nicer. The devices are very frosty, especially the reverse. The fields are really deep! The devices come off of the fields sharply suggesting a brand new, ready to use die. The scan makes the coin look more toned than it really is; it is actually quite bright. The coin is devoid of hairlines! Overall a killer black and white!
The coin has some very small spots in from of Liberty in the fields and some really small contact marks on the shield of the eagle keeping it from a 68.

Between us we've got a great start on a year set. I've got the 1897 Liberty Nickel in PR67DCAM. It's currently a pop 1 coin too. But, as you said, that will probably change in coming years when more collectors try for the DCAM.

All I can say is "WOW REALLY NICE COIN". I can't imagine a whole set like that. There is just something about those old proof coins.
Again, really nice.
