Some advice for Proof sets Please

First off, coin collecting is not my first hobby. I have, however put together a full run of Proof sets from 1938 to present and intend to give them to my grandchildren later in life. Only a few of the sets are PCGS graded. Here's the question, as I do not know if they will keep them or not: Am I better off leaving th reamining sets as is or is it better to have them all graded via PCGS..Thanks, and feel free to yell at me if I'm out of line with the question..

Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
will command a premium, but it's likely at least twenty years out. Unless the coins in
the set are choice gems, then it's likely not worth the cost of slabbing. If these are
being held for the long term, it's difficult to predict either the best slabs or the future
grading. You might consider adding mint sets to the mix, though.
