Modern Proof Registry Question

When updating my modern proof registry, I tried to add my new 69DC West Point dollar but it was rejected- why can't it fill in the $1 commem spot?

Thanks,

Jeremy

I'm afraid I have no clue. image

Been outta the modern coin biz for the better part of a year, now. (Except for a few pre-decimal Irish issues, of course). image

My guess is it is too new and they don't have the software set for anything newer than 2001 in the moderns. The same thing happened when I tried to add a 2002 Jefferson Nickel.

Oh- wait a minute. You're talkin' about a 2002-dated coin?

(Geez- I guess my ignorance of modern commems is showing!) image

That's a bit easier to answer. I believe PCGS will not allow the registration of any current-year coinage until the end of the year in question.

Tony is right, I'm pretty sure. I was not able to add any 2001-dated coins to my old Modern Type Set last year, until about December of the year, as I recall. Just hang on to it for another month or two, and try it then.
