Did you expect to return as MS? Did you not see the rub or hope the PCGS/NGC/ANACS... didn't se the rub?

How often has this happened to you?

Well, in one recent batch I expected MS and got all AU. I didn't see the wear. But as I learned more, I realized they were right and the seller gipped me big time.

I cracked out an NGC 63 Buffalo nickel once that came back AU58 from PCGS. When I read the invoice on the PCGS site I was pissed. "How could they say that?!" I whined. Well, when I got the coin back I immediately noticed the coin was, in fact, AU. Oops! lol I was so enamored with the toning when I bought the coin I failed to really LOOK at the coin. There really isn't a big difference in price on the grades so it's no big deal but it taught me a HUGE lesson. Clearly NGC market grades Buffs whereas PCGS technically grades them for the most part...
