I'll be there Sunday. Maybe Friday. Would rather go Saturday but have plans.
  • Bryan,

Will definitely stop by. Got a Franklin half with some neat rainbow toning to bring by your table.

It’s a full floor with 70 dealers. Most are from the regular 5 state circuit.

  • DARN IT~ I had planned on going, but may not be able to make it. Isn't there one in November also? I am hoping to be able to make it to that one.

    Keith & others,
I'll be there Sat morning. Got a long drive, but worth it.

Neptune - There is a show in Austin, TX on November 2. There will be about 25 tables but less than 10 that have large amounts of slabbed coins (if that's your thing). PM me if you want details.

Blade and I are going to try to meet up around 9:30 AM or so on Saturday near Tonekiller's table. Of course, that depends on what time I really wake up. But I do plan to get there relatively early so that I have plenty of time to watch Texas send the Sooners back home in shame.

  • I was hopeing to make it. I guess I will have to set my sights on next months show though.
I am looking for any PCGS MS 70 Silver Eagle.
  • Well I sure wish I could make it. A show from my home state and in a place I have been to (through) many times in the past. Unfortunately, for me, it is a little too far from Norway where I now live.

I would love to hear some reports from visitors to the show later.........

  • If anybody is still going, I'll be there around 9:00 tomorrow (Sunday) morning! Made a trade with my wife -
I took the baby for 4 hours today so that she could get out of the house, so I have tomorrow morning off
and will be spending it (and my money imageimageimage ) in Grapevine. And, it's only a 20 minute drive from the house
so how could I possible miss it!?!?!

  • Spent about 2 1/2 hours at the show. Lot of dealers there and a lot of material I was interested in. Picked up 3 commems, 1 Texas, and 2 Washington-Carvers, all three with varying degrees of tone.

Highlight of the show was seeing Anaconda's Roanake slabbed as an NGC 67, which many on the board swore would never happen and insisted it was AT. Second highlight was a group of raw Texas commems that Tonekiller showed me. I'm eagerly awaiting the submission results on those. Very beautiful pieces.

Keith, I feel sure the set of 6 Texas coins are real. Will a service agree? I am not sure and with the color and the coins grades it does not really matter. Thanks to all for coming and saying hello. The Roanoke is no longer mine as I am married to a CPA so keeping coins is a no no.

I hope Adrian will post a new review of the coin and stay with the board as his passion for coins is rare and needed.

  • I was there Friday from 2:30 to 4:00 but unfortunately I could not recognize any of you all. I was the guy walking around with an oxygen cannula affixed. I was a little early as several booths had not opened. Had to leave early to beat the OU-Texas game traffic. Oh by the way OU beat Texas!!! Something like 35-24 I believe. Maybe I will catch some of you at the next show.
