Zardoz's breaks Kelloggs Alliance

Is it true ! I see Zardoz's 1970 Kelloggs set is no longer listed as current ! Did the meeting with Davalillo lead to a new alliance to overthrow Thegemmintman as leader of the Kelloggs kingdom.
The rumors are rampant here in Texas

    No, the Kellogg's Alliance remains intact. The set might not be in the current finest, but a second set has taken its place. The Kellogg's Kounter Revolutionary set.

    Call me a wuss, but I am not going to participate in going head to head with these giants. By freezing my set, I am no longer tempted to add at these ever increasing levels. I refuse to sell an internal body organ to go from a 9 to a 10 on one particular card.

    However, I like this VINTAGE set so much and the fun of assembling, that I have started another. Alas, I cannot transfer any of the cards in my first set to my second set, without losing my place in the all time greatest, so I'm back to scrambling for cards.

    In light of the fact that I will

    A. never budge Gemmintman from #1

    B. My #2 spot is virtually guaranteed to remain intact in perpetuity, despite the actions, and bravado of a certain collector, who shall remain nameless.

    It seemed to be the most sensible and disciplined action to take.

    The Alliance is as strong, if not stronger than ever.

    Down with the pretenders to the thrown!

    Yeah, what Zardoz said! LOL

    Before the rumor mill runs wild, let me just mention that Zardoz has mentioned to me numerous times in the past month that he was going to freeze his set, and start another one because he just can't get enough of these cards, or words to that effect.

    So Zardoz's Kommitment to Kellogg's is still very Kommendable.

    I see that your new set already has the Horlen and May cards, plus you have them on Ebay as well... Have you been hoarding these card from the rest of us Kellogg's Kollectors?? image

    Simply put........yes

    But those are the last that I have. I think by now that many of you realize that the majority of the existing pops on several cards in this set have come from me. Well, I am getting to the bottom of the barrel, so things might even get a little stickier out there now on some of these cards.

    Yes, but only in the original sealed pouches. If the card market ever fades away, at least I'll have the 50 year old tobacco to chew on. Do you have any idea what the Canseco slabs have done to my teeth?

    Davalillo has plenty of trolls to do his bidding for him. I have never placed a bid or bought a card on his behalf.....but if the money was right...........image
