    Unbelievable! How rude!

    Too bad I can't start boycotting them. That is because I've already placed them on my "never do business with" list a long time ago...

    Wow! This is one of the reasons this site is so valuable! I have never done business with TagZ and have heard bad things about them before, but this reaffirms it! If I got a response from a business like that I would certainly try get in touch with the President or owner of the company and let them know, and if they didn't do anything then ....

    JJacks, the problem with your suggestion of getting in touch with the president or owner of the company is that in this case their president, Silvano DiGenova, is probably worse than the guy who wrote this email. The king geased ape scumbag!

    TAGZ is well know to have zero respect for their customers. They are rude and arrogant to everyone (including big money customers). There are people in this forum that have done 6-figure business with them and they were even treated rudely.

    No wonder judging from their annual reports the company is dying. Too bad the same can't be said for the cancers that run this company.

    BOYCOTT TAGZ AND TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW ABOUT WHY THEY SHOULDN'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE SCUMBAGS!

    I have had only one recent experience with Superior/TAGZ. In tried to bid on an item in their recent pre-long beach auction. While I placed the bid on-line before the auction item closed it refused to acknowledge my bid. So the seller got a lower price, Superior got a lower commission, and I missed the coin. I called to complain and the gal who took the call treated me with respect, acknowledged the problem with their systems, and offered to phone me next auction and bid live on my behalf. I also bought a coin where I had a resting bid. The coin was certified, but I felt they over-described it. I did get it cheap though so I can't really complain. It was a 1911 Matte Proof Lincoln in PR66RB. It was described as mostly red, however it was mostly brown, Still it did have 66 surfaces, and at $920 the deal seemed OK.

    Based on these experiences, I am not sure that I would be a player in the next auction. Still, I wasn't treated rudely. I do recall once trying to buy a coin from the old TAGZ. It was not pleasant, and I never called again.

    I am one who has done over six figures with this company. Things went well many times before going south in a big way. I received some six coins on approval that I did not request. I kept one and sent back the other five. My credit card was on file and they charged it correctly as they had done many many times before. Then some six months later my "salesman" called up and wanted payment for the same coin.

    We went round and round for several months before they dropped their demands. Needless to say - - I naver bought another coin from them.
