I thought these were produced by Collectors Universe, yet the seller is claiming it was recovered from ground zero?!

Am i mistaken, or..............................?

    The coins were recovered from ground zero, not slabbed. PCGS got contracted to do the job of slabbing the coins. They're referred to as "Death Dollars'' around here.

    Has PCGS explained why they got blood on thier hands yet? I've been away from this board for a while because of thoses "coins"? CHRIS

    Hmm I was under the impression that collectors universe just took a bunch of eagles and slabbed them to commerate 9/11. I stand corrected though. image
