1999 SILVER PROOF SET W / STATE QUARTERS *Still Going UP :Q*

Every time I check the price on these sets on ebay they are higher!

When will they stop going up?

Were they not going for around $95-100 last spring?

Now I see them going as high as $139 image


Glad I got one when I did image

    I've bought a pcgs pr69dcam silver set every year so far and plan to do so until the end. Almost makes me wish I had just bought a bunch of original sets from the Mint!

    I dont know where the top is going to be on the 1999 silver sets but it is fun to watch.. and now there seems to be a higher price for the 2000 and 2001's. I way overspent my limited funds to buy a bunch of the 2002's and I am keeping my fingers crossed one day soon they will see these amazing prices.     The dealers are selling these for a mlinimum of $160. I just bought a set, therefore the peak has been reached and now it will
    spiral down. Did the same thing with my house, my car, etc.

    NoviceKris, the 99's have been on an upward spiral due to the lower mintage. I wouldn't expect the same to happen with the others, as there were many more minted. This isn't a buy sell board, but I do have one left that is headed to Ebay, unless someone wants it here for $120.

    I just can't help but think this set will continue to command higher and higher prices due to the limited mintage of 880,000. New collectors are scrambling around to obtain these to build a P-D-S-S set, and there will only be so many of those sets. This could start fetching really outrageous prices in the not too distant future, in my opinion.

    A couple days ago, someone bought one on Ebay from ALAN HAGERimage for $150! I was thinking, wow, I thought they were only selling for around $100.image

    I think we paid somewhere in the $150 range in 2000 for 1999 silver sets....$140 would be a reasonable price for now..

    Some of the pf69 2002 silver sets are going up,so better get them now!

    I need a few 2002 silver S.Q to fill in with,if any one has extra's to sell...
