(tsn.ca) - Oakland Raiders kicker Sebastian Janikowski was arrested Wednesday night on suspicion of drunken driving according to Friday reports by the Alameda Newspaper Group.
Janikowski, 24, was arrested early Wednesday morning after he failed a field sobriety test. Authorities said Janikowski failed a preliminary test at the scene and was taken to Alta Bates Medical Center in Berkeley, where a blood test showed his alcohol level to be .20, more than twice California's legal limit.
Although he has no alcohol or drug convictions on his record, Janikowski was involved in an incident last year that could have placed him at Stage 1 of the program. Last Oct. 8, Janikowski was taken to the hospital and received five stitches in his head after a fall on the dance floor at a San Francisco nightclub. (San Francisco Chronicle)"
