Actually what is being discussed here is called a repunched mint mark (RPM). In 1943 cents, there are currently 19 different dies known, only a few of which are easily discernible in anything lower than 16 power. 1) FS#019 RPM is to the southwest. Rarity is 126 to 250 known. MS63 value somewhere around $100, MS65 $200.
2) FS#019.1 RPM southeast. Rarity 2 known. XF$5, AU$10, MS63$25.
