Has Anyone Earned Free Gradings from the Registry?

Do they list your invoice in the Status Search as if it were a regular submission? What was the turnaround? Just curious. Since they're free, a longer than usual wait might be the norm, I'm guessing.

If I'm buying it's PRICELESS. If I'm selling, it's WORTHLESS.

Yes they do, turn around was excellent. Your guess would be incorrect.

As I have reached the 73+% mark on my 67's, I am about to enter the "realm of the freebies." I beleive I can report on the journey within a few weeks.

  • I just had my freebie submission received by PSA yesterday (10/3). Its only 2 cards, but I will let you know when it gets turned around. Im hoping I have the same luck as Acowa.

I just cashed in 4 sets worth. Emailed the registry people, Gayle Emailed me the approval codes, handed the 8 cards at Fort Washington last weekend, it reached the data base on 10/01. Hopefully they will be ready to roll shortly...jay

    Paul,

Seeing as how I am unprincipled, can I claim yours?

    onegaucho,

Free Grading. We recognize that not every card in every important collection has been graded by PSA. In order to encourage participation in the PSA Set Registry program when your set reaches 75% complete, you are entitled to the following free grading benefits:

If the set composition is 1-50 cards you are entitled to 1 free grading.
If the set composition is 51-150 cards you are entitled to 2 free gradings.
If the set composition is 151-300 cards you are entitled to 3 free gradings.
If the set composition is 301+ cards you are entitled to 5 free gradings.
Free gradings are for cards within the set that has reached 75% completion. All cards must be submitted at one time. If your set has reached 75% complete, please contact setregistry@collectors.com for an authorization code. No free gradings will be permitted without this authorization code, so be sure to write the number down on the top of your submission form.
