Sweet - Toned key date 1912-S 5c

This is very sweet. Got an e-mail from RCNH (Thanks Jon) and they picked this up at Long Beach. About 2X the going price for the grade, but the reverse is amazing and the 1912-S is a key date. NGC MS65. Check out that reverse.

  • It is indeed a very nice coin - not bad really at the price, but not in my neighborhood by a long stretch! image

There was a thread about it yesterday. It was lot 160 from the recently completed Bowers and Merena Rarities sale.

Me either, but it's worth sharing for some of those with deeper pockets than me!
