No pic - cruddy ad - what can you expect? The PCGS pricing and other sites pricing would seem to agree that the value is over $55.
Seems a better representation of the item being offered would have gotten a better representation of the item's price....IMO.

I don't collect Memorial Lincolns but I do know that the PCGS price guide is often wildly incorrect (in both directions) on their Wheat cents...its seems that many times they only update prices to support David Hall's list prices on coins that are in stock. Just some examples:
Coins I would love to buy at listed prices:
1933-D MS67RD $550 (maybe $2500-$3000 if you can even find one; maybe much more)
1936-D MS67RD $135 (about $400? or so these days)
1937-S MS67RD $150 (selling for $300+ on eBay recently)
1924 MS66RD $265 (buying all of them I can find at this price)
Coins I would love to sell at listed prices:
1958-D MS67RD $1350 ($500 or so sounds about right to me)
1921 MS66RD $1500 (sold one last month for $700 and it was nice for the grade)
1909-S VDB MS65RD $5250 (just sold one for $3400 last week)
1930 MS67RD $675 (just sold a very nice one for $500 and was happy to get that)
As for the 1974-D...my thought is that most people collecting the Memorial series will be holding out for an MS67RD with a pop of 44/1 rather than settling on an MS66RD. It is also the most common Lincoln from 59-81 per PCGS pop reports. A good picture and nice writeup may certainly get you a better price than $16 but I think that $55 (or $100 if the PCGS price guide is to be believed) is out of the question for this coin at the present time. My general advice for all Lincolns is to ignore the price guides and look to historical sales records (eBay and auctions) to find true pricing. If you can't find recent sales data on any of these you can always PM me if you want to find out my opinion (and it is just an opinion; I may be wrong). Lincolns can be tough to price with wild price swings even within the same grade...a recent registry board thread about the 1927 in MS67RD returned statements from experts that any price above $500 or below $5000 depending on the individual coin would not raise an eyebrow among people who know this series.

I have to comment on your attack on Datentype. Anyone who has ever bought anything from him knows that he sells only quality coins and he starts his auctions very cheaply. I have bought 30 or so coins off him and never have been dissappointed. I only buy the Top Population coins so I am not someone who spends little money. I have spent thousands of dollars with him and am spending more every chance I get. He is just like Wondercoin in that anyone who is a buyer knows the quality they are going to receive and the need for a picture is not called for. You might want to rethink before you sling mud on someones reputation.
I just bought a coin from Datentype and couldn't be happier but I do think its4real has a point. Just think how much he would get for his coins if he had good pics and a better description? I think it'd be a whole lot more. I think Datentype wants to put his energy into finding those gem coins and not spend all day scanning them.
You do have a point but when I checked Datentype's auctions this morning he had 160 of them. That's a lot of pictures and I personally have never had any luck taking pictures of slabs to begin with.
